カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン・ケンウッド・アーティスト・シリーズ1986年

The grapes selected for the 1986 Artist Series are a blend of the finest small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Two neighboring vineyards represent the majority of the 1986 blend: Lindholm Vineyard from Mayacamas Mountain and Berger Vineyard from Sonoma Mountain. Small amounts from Jansen and Jack London Ranch were also included. Each vineyard lot was kept separate during the fermentation in stainless steel and aging for two years in Nevers Oak barrels.


About the Artist Wine Profile 1986

Kenwood Vineyards’ twelfth Artist Series Cabernet Sauvignon release features "Blue Moon," by Don Clausen. Don Clausen, resident of San Francisco and graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, is an incurable experimenter. Although most of his work is in the abstract-expressionist vein, his moods swing from striking energy to haunting calm. His work “Blue Moon” exemplifies the pure colors, rich textures and beautiful color gradations he uses to produce artwork with tremendous impact. Don’s works are currently exhibited at galleries in Palm Springs, Carmel and San Francisco.
